Grrat lightbar, but has limitation on mounting.
Harness could use a little improvement as connector gets loose easily. I had to tape it all around to keep it from losing contact. Also mounting options could use improvement as well. I mounted it on a prinsu design roofrack with 40 lightbar cut out but it gives me a little room to adjust it lower as it prevent me from doing so because of the limitations of the brackets making contact with the wiring. I prefer the wiring to be at the back instead on the side. Other than that, the lightbar is awesome.

I'm glad to hear that the light bar itself is good, but I understand your concern about the length of the wiring. We wanted to make the lengths of our wire as universal as possible to fit most builds. It's important to note that the wiring coming from the light bar is not intended to be routed down the windshield. Instead, it's designed to solve rerouting issues on the roof or bumper, or to add length if the light bar is mounted towards the back of the vehicle.
The plug to connect the light bar to the harness was broken so I had to repair myself to be able to make it work. There was no mounting brackets in the box.

High quality led light bar
High quality led light bar. Housing, glass, and look are amazing, the wiring, not so much. It’s too bad that these come wrapped in a loose wire sleeve that makes any install look amateur at best. A lot of light bars get mounted to roof racks and this oversized wire protection doesn’t fit in weather stripping and it looks bad, but this is a common problem with most aftermarket wiring harnesses. Everything else about this light is beautiful.

We are sorry that the loose wire sleeve did not work for you. We designed the loose fitting sheathing to make it more universally compatible with most builds. Great light bar and looks at home on my uptop overland rack
Ordered through uptop with my rack. showed up in a timely manner | 38 in slim Extreme Light bar turned out awesome on my uptop overland rack install. Nice that you can wire the ambers seperate from the white leds. Hacked the harness because i am running a switchpro 9100.

It took a little too long to get my lightbar out. My Sherpa order was delayed 3 weeks past the lead time, and my light bar still got here AFTER my rack. | Expensive, but mega bright. I love the amber function in fog and dust on the trails!

It was ok | The lack of installation directions is frustrating. Social media or YouTube videos showing installation would greatly help. Also more than 4 lines of directions on the site would be great as well. Overall the light bar seems very sturdy and high quality.

We appreciate your support. About the harness, it is designed like that to make it more customizable to accomodate the needs of most users. We have included loose fitting wrap that makes the harness slightly bulkier which you can remove if you prefer a less bulky. We included it to keep all the wires bundled up together, for neat look rather than having multiple loose wires.

Great budget bar, but not for my application.
Extreme LED has a fantastic sales and support staff that processed my order (and my return) very quickly. Everyone was helpful and sorry to hear that the light wouldn't work for me. I would do business with them again! | I bought this light with the intention of installing it on my roof rack. I know that mounting lights on the roofline comes with the risk of producing too much glare on the hood, but I decided to try due to its description as a spot pattern. However, the optics on this bar seem way too scattered to be a true narrow-angle spot. They are simply LED chips with shallow reflector cones mounted over them. I had to aim the light way too high in order to reduce hood glare to an acceptable level, making this bar less useful than I hoped. The amber end lights also didn't seem to contribute much brightness, even when used by themselves- they don't produce much "fill light" like I hoped that they would. When the center section is on, you can hardly see the ambers at all. Finally, the faceplate covers seem to be made of a phenolic style plastic, which is fine but they appear to distort a lot during assembly when looking at the bar from the side. They may be sturdy but it gives the light a cheap look.
At least the lights in the center section are bright, but I would call the overall beam pattern disorganized. While it has a lot of output, I'm not sure it's very usable for anything other than a vague flood of light. And the BRIGHT white glare on the hood meant that my eyes were being dazzled unnecessarily, reducing the utility of the light where I wanted.
Overall, the X6S bar appears to be a stout, compact, and inexpensive light bar option; but it would not work for my application. I care much more about how the lights will work than how they'll look on instagram.
Extreme LED has a fantastic sales and support staff that processed my order (and my return) very quickly. Everyone was helpful and sorry to hear that the light wouldn't work for me. I would do business with them again!
